Hotel commission

I was commissioned to create ten large‑scale abstract paintings for the suites of Auckland’s Horizon Hotel by SkyCity.
The works were developed to respond to the scale, colour palette and atmosphere of the hotel using layered colour and texture

fashion/design

A collaborative project with New Zealand fashion designer, Juliette Hogan, where original paintings were translated into fabric prints for clothing.
The abstract painting was created using a colour palette which could extend beyond the canvas, adapting colour and mark‑making into wearable form.

Commissions FAQs

How long does the commission process take?

Depending on the size, please allow 8 - 10 weeks for a single painting

How much extra does a commissioned painting cost?

My paintings are priced by size. There is a one off commission fee of $ 200. To get an idea of pricing, please take a look at my current paintings

What is the payment process like?

When we decide to work together I send an invoice for 1/3 of the painting price as a deposit in order to buy materials for your project. The balance is paid once you are happy with the images of the finished painting and it is ready to be delivered.

Do you work with people outside New Zealand?

Yes I do. Larger paintings on canvas are taken off the stretcher and rolled and sent inside a tube direct to a framer in your country where the painting is re stretched. All this is arranged by me from here.
