I create custom paintings for homes and commercial interiors and design led projects
Commissions are developed in close conversation with clients and collaborators, allowing scale, colour, and context to shape each work.
Commissioned works are created in response to specific spaces, briefs, or concepts. This may include guidance around size, palette, and surface qualities, while allowing the painting to develop naturally through a layered, abstract process.
Projects range from single works for private homes to large‑scale commissions for commercial interiors.
Hotel commission
I was commissioned to create ten large‑scale abstract paintings for the suites of Auckland’s Horizon Hotel by SkyCity.
The works were developed to respond to the scale, colour palette and atmosphere of the hotel using layered colour and texture
fashion/design
A collaborative project with New Zealand fashion designer, Juliette Hogan, where original paintings were translated into fabric prints for clothing.
The abstract painting was created using a colour palette which could extend beyond the canvas, adapting colour and mark‑making into wearable form.
