How can I see your paintings in person?
If you are in Auckland I’m happy to bring some paintings to you to view in your home and have a trial if you are not ready to make a decision straight away. You are also welcome to come out to my home studio in Titirangi, just get in touch to make a time helen@helendeanart.com
I also have paintings in galleries and shows within NZ and will publicise these in my emails.
How is payment made?
You can buy a painting on my website using Paypal, Apple-pay or your credit card.
You can also pay by direct bank transfer if you prefer.
Can I pay in Installments?
Yes, some people prefer to pay in 2 or 3 installments. Get in touch if you’d like to set up this option. You can also use Afterpay on my website which will break your payment into 4 separate payments.
Do you do commissions?
Yes, I have some spaces for commissions each year , so please get in touch and we can chat about what you have in mind.

What materials do you use ?
I work primarily on canvas using artist quality artist acrylics and a range of mediums. I also work on board and paper.
Can you recommend a framer?
Yes, if you let me know where you are I can let you know the best option for you.
I bought one of your mini paintings on paper can you help me with framing ?
I’ve written a blog post which describes the different ways to get your piece custom framed as well as some options for off the shelf frames.
My favourite painting has sold , how can I know when you have new work?
The best thing to do is sign up for my emails so that you can see work before it’s added to my website.
Shipping
How soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 7 working days.
Within NZ, pieces are sent by courier depending on size and weight. Most NZ deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, my studio is in Titirangi, Auckland.
I live in Auckland , can you deliver ?
Yes, within Auckland I am happy to deliver free of cost to you in person
Do you ship internationally ?
Yes, I have sent original paintings to the UK, NZ, Asia and Australia. For paintings over 75cm I take them off the stretcher, and roll in a tube direct to a framer where they are restretched.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me straight away and if possible keep a photograph.
What about Overseas Returns?
Unfortunately I can’t offer international returns
How are prints packed ?
Unframed A2 prints are sent flat in a plastic sleeve with backing board between two pieces of corrugated cardboard and placed in a mailer bag or wrapped in brown paper. Unframed A1-A0 prints are rolled with acid-free tissue and brown paper and put into a tube.
