Exploring colour and composition
There’s something about painting this size that feels very playful and fun and often sparks ideas for other paintings. I find I can work with no expectations and experiment with shapes and colour combinations .
They have become an integral part of my process . I create them before beginning a new series of work or to awaken my creativity if I find myself stuck working on larger pieces.
Each mini original is acrylic paint on A5 watercolour paper .
