My mini colour studies have become an integral part of my process . I create them before beginning a new series of paintings or to awaken my creativity if I find myself stuck working on larger pieces.

There’s something about painting this size that feels very playful and fun and often sparks ideas for other paintings. I find I can work with no expectations and experiment with shapes and colour combinations . Twice a year I select 10 - 12 studies to share with my email list . I love to be able to share these small and more affordable original artworks with the people who show an interest in my work and share a love of creativity, colour and the handmade.
